Directions:

The 1890 House Museum is located at 37 Tompkins Street (NY Route 13), 1/2 block west of Main Street in the city of Cortland.

If coming on Interstate 81 > take exit 11 > stay on Route 13 South 1 1/2 miles > cross Main Street > The 1890 House is on the left (the one with the turret).

Street parking is available in front of the museum. Additional parking is located in free city lots nearby.

Hours of Operation:

The museum is open to the public year-round Thursday through Saturday from 1-4 pm (closed on major holidays). Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors and students, $3.00 for tour groups of 12 or more with two week advance reservation. Children under 12 are free.

Guided tours for schools and other interested groups are available by advance reservation. To make a reservation or for more information please call our office.
